What We Do
The OESIS Network is a faculty-focused nationwide innovation network of 600+ schools and thousands of teachers.
We seek to catalyze change in the learning models of schools with an emphasis on the innovative practices in pedagogy, curriculum development, 21st-century assessment, governance alignment and school culture change.
We have grown from an initial focus on online learning (hence the acronym Online Education Strategies for Independent Schools), to covering now all areas of student-centered learning including Project-Based Learning, Mastery, 21st Century Assessment, STEAM, Experiential Learning, Global Collaboration, Blended Learning, Inquiry Driven Models and more. The Network Model is the 21st century incarnation of an association, but no longer a hub and spoke paradigm. We are as strong as the resources, ideas and abilities at the periphery. We strive to maximize collaboration among the many schools and their faculty, by provoking innovative conversations, by globalizing connections, and by using research and information to lead.
